A new spin on golf
You’ve got your usual group, your usual bets, and a pretty good idea of who’s full of shit. Our bag tag spinner games give you a few new ways to settle it on the course. Clip one to your bag and put a little more on the next shot, whether it’s your drink, your money or your buddy’s ego. You’re still playing golf, just with a new spin.
Our on-course golf game that adds a little chaos to your round, because golf isn’t hard enough already.
Our on-course drinking game that keeps the drinks flowing, because every good swing needs a little lubrication.
Our on-course gambling game that raises the stakes, because pride doesn’t pay the bar tab.
Have a question?
Pick your game, agree on how you’re keeping score, and spin. The full rules cover who spins, when, and what each result does: Rough Luck, Swing Lube, Chump Change. Read them before the first tee. Arguing later is still an option.
Win the golf game your group agreed on. Rough Luck adds personal challenges and advantages. Swing Lube gives your group consequences for the shots. Chump Change builds a shared pot for the winner. Enjoying the round is also allowed.
Absolutely. Change the rules, change the prompts, we don't care. If you have any better ideas, you should definitely send them to us at hearme@roughluckgolf.com.
Group vote. Hopefully, in favor of the funniest outcome. Did we mention you should be recording everything? Put it all on social media and tag us. #roughluck
Rough Luck has a separate scramble variation. Swing Lube has separate scramble rules for 2v2 and four-person teams. Chump Change’s standard rules use each golfer’s own ball and individual scores, even in team play. If you adapt Chump Change for a scramble, agree on how scores and charges count before starting. Agreeing on the rules before the first tee saves arguing about them on the third.
It keeps the prompts and a metal spinner right on your bag. Spin, read the result and keep playing. Choosing the rule shouldn’t take longer than choosing a club.
